Who am I?

I am Zach.

I am a jazz studies major at Florida State University, as well as a semi-professional photorapher and a photojournalist  for the FSView, Florida State’s student-run newspaper.

I am a strong believer in justice, equality, and the power of the arts to transform normal people in everyday life.

And I goddamn bleed Garnet and Gold.

  5. Hi Zach,
I stumbled upon your post about the Quran burning, and I just wanted to say thanks for writing such a great piece. I am a Muslim woman living in the Texas (actually lived in Orlando, FL for a few years and studied at UCF) and my colleagues and I are compiling a list of references etc. from the Quran and other Islamic literature to refute each of the ten “reasons” listed on the Dove website. I especially like the idea of reading Quranic verses in church on Sunday. How can I encourage our local churches to do the same?

  6. Hi Zach,

It is so refreshing to read a nice post that encourages religious tolerance and freedom. As a Muslim American living in New York and one who experiences negative comments and criticism quite frequently, I really appreciate your post and only hope and wish that others would be more like you and the kind Minister in your post. Thank you again!

    A fan from NY! :)

Excellent responses you wrote on the burning of the Qur’an. Very VERY impressive. I’m just thankful there’s still hope in the world with thoughtful young minds like yours.
